                      Not Quite With It.....

Time seems to be flying past without telling me, and it seems that there is nothing I can do about it.  One son living away, another past his driving test and does not need me so much (for lifts!), and youngest at high school, slowly growing very independent (as they do!).......really I should be very grateful for such lovely independent kids, and I am, honest, but sometimes when the house is empty, it feels very lonely.  I have so much I should be doing, but can't seem to get my Mojo back at the moment.... maybe when the sun starts shining, and spring appears properly, things will sort themselves out in my mind, and I'll give myself a big kick up the bum, and get on with it!

  1. I had the same thing. Daughter emigrated to Canada, and two years later younger daughter got married and moved away, although not so far. I went through a very down year, especially missing the one in Canada as we cannot afford to go out every year. We do skype once a week and get to talk face to face instead of just a voice down the phone. It has taken time to accept that this is the way it will be now, and it gets easier as time goes on.
