Joining in the Festive Spirit

Was reading through Tracys blog  here  and decided to pop over to http://kcscourt.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/advent-calendar-2013.html to join in the 'Advent calender' group, where you add a festive picture daily throughout  December.  As well as a bit of fun, and seeing other blogs that I may not have seen before, I think it will get my mojo back.  This seems to have been missing for a while, especially where my picture taking has been concerned.  After my dog walk  here I have managed to keep my camera with me on most walks.  Trouble is, it is a bit of a clumsy thing to drag around.....can anyone recommend a smallish camera with a good zoom and megapixel?  I'm using a Kodak Z990, which takes a great pic, but as I've said, it's a bit of a lump...

Anyhoo, my picture for today, 4th December is this...

I think it used to be a bottle topper, but quite cute all the same (even though it has seen better days!!)

  1. He's very cute, but then I love snowmen and the more vintage the better.

  2. Why but he is great!!! I love him! I would love to participate in uploading an advent picture daily but I know I won't be able to do it every day ....something always crops up. It is hard enough posting once a week....and I don't always manage that. I must say I read loads of blogs though and they make great reading too :-)

    keep well

  5. Very cute. I have just bought a Canon G15 - great little camera which lives in my pocket, the zoom is fine for what I want. For an amazing zoom on a compact there is an olympus one. Will find out which one and let you know. x
