Time To Get Back On Board...

We are now in to the middle of January, I have signed up to a swap via Tracy at http://madaboutbagsuk.blogspot.co.uk , so that I am sort of forced into the land of blogging again!! I really needed to escape for a while, get my brain into gear, sort things out (well, pretend to!!) and start afresh.....so here goes...this is what I call a new start!!!!.......

It's a bit chaotic here to say the least...bedroom is being re-plastered,

so you can imagine how my house is looking at the moment!! Just for a few weeks, our bedroom is on the landing, in the spare room and the bathroom!!  At the same time, we have had the hall ceiling plastered too...

When the radiator was removed, I found this bit of vintage paper, shame it was only a scrap, but I thought it was fab, so it has joined my heap of stuff...so much for a clear out!!
I have soooooo much decorating to do next week, it's scary....but I will have some help from a good friend, so it's not all bad!!
On the garden front, my chooks had been looking a bit worse for wear before Christmas, but they now seem to be perking up a bit and getting some colour back into their combs...which makes me smile... :)

As mentioned above, I have also joined in a swap, and my swap partner is Kimbereley at http://creativechaosnz.blogspot.co.uk/  and she seems to be much more organised than me!! I could really do with some of that sunshine they are having over in New Zealand!!  Well, I'll get off here now as I'm being stared at by my two computer screen friends..
so I'm off to get this first swap of the year on the go!!

  5. Good luck with the decorating. We were in the same state last November with our bedroom being redecorated and one wall in the lounge being repaired back to bare wall after the incident with the pigeon down the chimney!. Hugs Mrs a.
