TIME......

This year is already going far too quickly for me, and yet I still seem to be stuck and finding it hard to move forward......I have given up my allotment for this year, as I didn't have time to tend to it properly last year, and my poor attempt to grow broccoli and potatoes etc, resulted in the rabbits/rats/ deer all having a good feed at my expense!! 

So......today is my new beginning....even though it is nearly March!!   I have started to plan out my back garden to grow some veg and salad at home, as I will be able to look after it a lot better.  The chickens will be sectioned off (not sure that they will appreciate that, as they have had the run of the garden for nearly a year now!!), and seeds will be sown in the green house in the next few weeks.

I have also found my sewing mojo again....I had forgotten how much I love to sew, not that I'm much good, but here are a few things I have been practicing....

This is what got me started...a small bag for my friends daughter to keep beads in.....it was good to practice lining and making my own labels again!  I then went on to make 2 cushions with some left over fabric from my bedroom blinds, several reversible note book covers with hand made labels, a couple of lined coin purses and a  make up bag lined with lime green fabric!!

Not a bad start, just wondering who I can give them to now!!!  I have also got a pattern to make some clothes, which I haven't done since I was at school, but it came free with a magazine, so I'll give it a go and let you see the results soon!!  :)
