Slacking of the highest order...

I just haven't been able to keep up with this blogging lark, sometimes because I forget, sometimes because I have nothing of any interest to say, but most of all I'm just too dam busy!!  But I was just reading through a few blogs and Joy's blog  (from Daisy Row http://joyknitt.blogspot.co.uk/ ) caught my eye, because of the beautiful purple (being my favorite colour!!) clematis in her garden.  I had completely forgotten that I have the same plant in my front garden!!  So, I thought I'd share it with the world wide web,...

This other plant flowers every couple of years, but I don't know what it is....it has very spiky leaves though, I can tell you that!! (after mowing too close, it spiked my bum!)  If any one could tell me the name of it, and how to move it without killing it, that'd be good!  It also seems to 'grow' more plants off of it (see to the left and right), but I don't want it to overtake the border!

These few pots I have planted on tonight, and I just need to dead head my geraniums...

Also, as I gave up my allotment at the beginning of this year, I have managed to plant out some french beans, a few broad beans, and also some Chinese leaf.  I have put netting all around to stop the chooks, but I'm not sure that the french beans are doing too well, they look a bit yellow to me...(sorry, you can't see them properly. they are on the left of the box.)

Ooh, and this is one of my courgette plants that needs to be put in the ground VERY soon...

And lastly, I seem to be able to do a mean Norfolk Lavender plant!!  This has come up trumps for the last few years, and I have been able to harvest quite a bit from it!  If any one wants some dried lavender later in the year, let me know!!

Well that's it for now, I'm off to eat my home made curry!! :)
