Sewing slow down..
After cutting out the pieces for the skirt (last blog post) things have come to a halt.....I have been busy elsewhere, sorting things out, clearing out cupboards and procrastinating by hunting round charity shops for more stuff.....and filling up the cupboards!!! Terrible I know, but I can't resist buying vintage crockery....
Royal Albert - Old Country Roses
A simple bone china Staffordshire cup and saucer
Fine bone china with gold decoration
A gravy boat by Alfred Meakin......I have no idea what the pattern name is, so if anyone can help me, I'd be very grateful!!! I have searched the internet, but I can't even find a pattern that is the same!!
But my last and probably favourite junk find is this.....
No special expensive make, just bone china with 22 carat gold markings....so cute!
Now to get back to reality, I have almost finished putting together my swap pressie, (see over at http://madaboutbagsuk.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/send-little-love-swap-partners.html
Here's a quick pic of some wrapped up bits....will show you the contents when my swappee has received them ( http://christalscreations.blogspot.co.uk )
Looking forward to next week for half term!! :)
what gorgeous pieces!!! Me too!!! that is I love china too and manage to pick up bits and pieces now and again. I so envy you because it is much easier to find nice bits in the Uk than here.

Lovely China finds...it is so addictive isn't it? Sometimes the name of a certain China I find on etsy, may be worth a try. Looking forward to the swap too.xx
ReplyDeleteI love to see China cups and saucers, do you actually use them? X
